Deeply corrugated and slippery surface very dangerous, 25th October

Diamond Fields Road Mittagong is off Old South Road Mittagong. The road is deeply corrugated and slippery almost impossible to drive on, even at very low speeds i.e. less than 10 kph. Council and the mayor are aware of the dangerous situation and seem to unwilling to attend to this road.The road has never been so seriously corrugated and almost impossible to drive on. There are approx.30 properties along the road. Most of us have to use /have purchased old vehicles to save the alarming damage and wear and tear to our vehicles. The mayor has seen the road at a meeting and refuses to expedite any serious repairs to the road. it is only a matter of time before someone is injured.We have had to close our cellar door as the road is basically impassable and we are not prepared to compromise visitors safety. Over the past 15 years the road has been occasionally graded, however now it is so corrugated and has deep sided culverts which make passing an on coming vehicle a serious threat to rolling our vehicle. Urgent attention is required and not small patch ups. The mayor and council have been aware of these ever worsening and more dangerous road conditions for over 15 years.

Diamond Fields Road is dangerous and unsafe with vicious corrugations making for hazardous driving conditions and as the road is high above drains on either side has become a safety issue. The severe dust caused by the gravel is hazardous to health. The road is in such a state of disrepair that many residents vehicles are damaged and visitors will not travel the road.

Range Road via Mittagong nsw potholes, 8th December

When turning off Tourist Road onto Range Road at Glenquarry drive up the hill and you will soon come across some horrendous potholes that are very deep and dangerous. This problem is along the road and goes on for a way past a property called "Yellowstone standard Bred Stud". The road is very narrow and the potholes are too numerous to miss and there are quite a bit of traffic that do use the road. Yours sincerely Mrs Angela McLeod

Shocking road surface, 20th May

From Mittagong Creek to Carlisle Street, Merrigang Street is a nightmare of poorly repaired potholes and cross road trenches. It is not comfortable or safe to drive at the posted 50 kmh speed limit. Recently Council fully renovated Merrigang Street from Bendooley Street to Mittagong Creek but totally ignored the stretch of road beyond, which was and is in a shocking state of repair, particularly for a significant through road.

Road and gutter falling apart in front of premises, 27th April

At 27 Kiama St Bowral the gutter and road is falling apart in front of my premises and am wanting to get it fixed. Especially now after the big rain we have had and it looks terrible and is turning into a big pothole. Please fix and rectify the problem. Thanks.

I have had my property around 13 years now and still have sandy,rocky,holes in my road. when it rains the holes get even bigger and i had to buy a small 4x drive.

Wilson drive Hill Top has taken enough lives especially young children. Quit the revenue raising by having the police there and do something to fix the road instead. It needs a lot of work and trees cleared so the residents can access their homes safely

Crevice in gravel road, 28th November

A crevice has been washed in the middle of the road and it deepens with each heavy rain. It is dangerous both for vehicles and pedestrians, particularly the 93 yr old woman who lives alone along this street. This has been reported to Council which has taken to action to repair.

The road surface in Ascot Road between Mona St and Purcell St is in need of permanent resurfacing rather the temporary filling of potholes and other imperfections with the bitumen mixture that is currently used. This section of road is one of the most used streets in Bowral and should be maintained in good condition rather than the humps and bumps that currently exist.
