Pedestrians crossing inappropriatly

Reported in the Road Signs category by Heather Marchant at 12:19, Tue 2 September 2014

Sent to Parramatta City Council 1 year, 1 month, 15 hours, 30 minutes later

There are signs telling pedestrians to cross at the lights on the western corner of Cowper St ( opposite the Mantra) & also on the eastern side of Valentine steer facing toward Cowper St. Since the opening of the new Atria apartment building there has been a significant increase in the number of pedestrians crossing from Cowper St to Valentine st. This creating safety issues when drivers are trying to turn right out of Cowper into Parkes St which is difficult enough as it is. I know a sign won't stop this problem but might alleviate it. Also there is a problem with the signage for parking outside 33-35 Cowper St driveway leading to people parking across said driveway.as the sign does not indicate parking is not allowed across the driveway.
