Metella road toongabbie nsw needs to be resurfaced

Reported in the General category anonymously at 13:16, Wed 22 October 2014

Sent to Blacktown City Council 11 months, 6 days, 14 hours, 34 minutes later

For several months Metella road toongabbie starting from Blacktown road to Cornelia road the road was dug up for some major electrical upgrade for the rail network, the road has been left looking like a patchwork quilt, over the years I have seen small roads in the area which only cater only for residents use that have been resurfaced, unlike Metella road is a very busy local road, recent and previous developments on this road have increased the traffic load and as a result the road is suffering , not to mention additional strain being placed by digging up the road, which was not replaced with the same surfure that was dug up. when I contact Blacktown council about this I was assured by their customer service officer the road should be replaced with the same surface as before, we certainly don't have that. We have a black line alogn Metella road which is has an enven surface that looks ugly. The residents in Metella road deserve better than this. I hope that something can be done to correct htis soon, I look forward to Council consideration of this matter. The Residents fo Metella Road Toongabbie NSW thank you
