Syringe next to primary school

Notification of syringe found sticking out of bushes on busy path, approximately 50m from a primary school. I removed the syringe and disposed of today but am concerned at the possibility of more of these on Knox street in such close proximity to the primary school. There are many bushes outside 111 Knox st, potentially housing more of these potentially dangerous items. Perhaps trimming the bushes and cleaning up the area adjacent the footpath could be done?
