Need speed bumps to reduce speeding

Reported in the General category by Kent Kingston at 12:27, Thu 7 March 2019

Sent to Lake Macquarie City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1424.

Lakeview Rd is a 50kph residential street, but also particularly wide and straight with a crest and a downhill stretch to its end on Beach Rd. Vehicles regularly speed both up and down this section, making it dangerous for residents backing cars out of driveways, riding bicycles, walking dogs, etc. The installation of 2 or 3 speed bumps or other speed controls along the stretch between Tuloa St and Beach Rd would encourage through-traffic to travel at safer speeds.
